Earth New Year
New Year is an arbitrary date.
After-all, when is the natural beginning and end of Earth's orbit around the sun?
There isn't one.
So, around the world, cultures ascribe different dates to the beginning of the New Year.
So it is with Vita Sapien.
In the West, New Year is celebrated on 1 January, but few people realize that this is actually a Christian celebration that commemorates the circumcision of baby Jesus.
Snip, snip. The biosphere is dying. New Year is an auspicious event. We can't be messing around with foreskin day, anymore.
It is time to reinvent New Year.
We ought to celebrate New Year on a date that advances the conversation about Vitae-planeta and the Verdant Age.
Vita Sapien suggests that New Year falls on 16 July at 9.29pm AEST.

In 1945 in New Mexico, USA the first nuclear explosion was detonated - the Trinity Bomb Test.
