In November 2025, Vita Sapien navigators Guy Lane and Nick Bestevaar attended the Rising Tide Protestival in Newcastle, NSW, Australia.
Rising Tide is Australia's largest fossil fuel protest and last year featured 7,000 people rightfully protesting Australia ecocidal fossil fuel industry, particularly the export of coal via ships from Newcastle Harbour.
